10 Apr 1940 Edinburgh To Commemorate the 50th Anniversary First Battle of Narvik 10th April 1940 and the award of the Victoria Cross to Captain B A W Warburton - Lee. 10 April by Captain B A W Warburton Lee, in command of the British 2nd Destroyer Flotilla, sweeping into the fjord. In the resulting battle, Warburton-Lee was killed and half the German destroyers were disabled or destroyed. Action off Caorle Point Signd by 4 13 Apr 90 Portsmouth .45th Anniversary of the Action off Caorle Point in the North of the Gulf of Venice Northern Adriatic by Boats of the 2nd Division.28th MTG Flotilla on 12 & 13th April 1945..Senior officer in the action Lieutenant C J Jerram DSC* aboard HMMTB 410.MTB's involved in the action were 410 ( Lieutenant A O Woodhouse RNZNVR), 409 (Lieutenant C R Holloway DSC RNVR) and 408 (Lieutenant R P Tomkin RNVR). This action, one of ten such actions, attacked seven FF Lighters and a small escort vessel, sinking five of the Lighters with six torpedoes. This was the second Hat Trick performed by the 28th MTB Flotilla in its short existence. The 28th Vosper MTB Flotilla came into being at the end of 1944, operating for approximately five months until the German Captitulation in the Mediterranean .
