Special Halifax III of No.138 (Special Duties ) Sqn. Newmarket Stradishall and Tempsford parachuting ammunition and equipment canisters to Resistance rendezvous. Signed by Capt. A. Thompson 249 Sqn. 5 NUMBERED & ISSUED.

Special Violetta Szabo G.C. cover signed by W.O. Herbert Spiller air oberver RAF. Evaded capture 24 Oct 42-12 Jan 43 after being shot down near Nancy in Lorraine France. Returned home via Comet Line with De Dee de Jongh. 15 NUMBERED & ISSUED.

As above but signed by Sqn.Ldr. Thomas Callan served as Medical Officer with RAF stationed in Egypt 1940 Greece and Crete 1941. P.O.W. in Stalag XXA then in Poland 1941-44. Escaped with John Greig 29 Feb 44 and with assistance of Polish Resistance boarded a Swedish ship to Sweden then home.

As above but signed by Richard Day Flying Office in the RAF with 253 (Hyderabad State). Shot down in Spitfire February 1945 in the Bihac area baled out in the mountains. Picked up by Partesans (Tito) after 3 days eventually flown out of Italy.
