As above but Signed by Flight Lieutenant William Reid VC 61 Squadron RAFVR. Awarded the VC for gallantry during a raid on Dusseldorf Germany on 3rd November 1943.Despite being severely wounded, continued to fly his damaged Lancaster bomber to bomb Dusseldorf. Managed to land his aircraft safely upon return.

as above but Different Black & White Picture and signed by L.W. Curtis DFC, Signals Leader on the Tirpitz mission with 617 Sqn. Also with 149, 99 & 158 Sqns and the famous 617 Dam Buster Squadron. His operations were carried out in Europe, North Africa and Russia. Whilst serving with 617 Squadron he flew with Squadron Leader Micky Martin. He flew on many aircraft, the Wellington, Halifax, Fairey Battle, Whitley, Lancaster, Stirling and Mosquito. He was awarded the DFC and Bar. Certified Copy No20

E C Johnson took part in Operation Chastise as the bomb Aimer on Plt Off Knight Lancaster ED912/G AJ N which attacked the Sorpe Dam. For his part in the Dam Raids he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. Made 1000 bomb raids in July 1942, and is the only surviving member at the time of signing who released a Barnes Wallis bomb, which actually breached a Dam ( Eder). Certified Copy No of 19
