as c24b but Signed by Erich Hartmann, the son of a doctor, was born in Weissach,Germany, on 19th April, 1922. He joined the Luftwaffe and was sent to the Eastern Front in the autumn in 1942. An outstanding pilot he was appointed Squadron Commander of Fighter Group 53 in 1944. Flying a ME109 it is claimed he made 352 kills during WW11. In 30 months of fighting he flew 1,425 combat missions and was shot down sixteen times but was never wounded. Erich Hartmann was captured by the Red Army in 1945 and held in a prison camp for ten years. Signed by Sir Edward Richard George Heath, KG, MBE (9 July 1916 - 17 July 2005), often known as Ted Heath, was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1970 to 1974 and leader of the Conservative Party from 1965 to 1975. Heath's accession represented a change in the leadership of the Conservative party, from aristocratic figures such as Harold Macmillan and Lord Home to the self-consciously meritocratic Heath, and later, Margaret Thatcher.also additional signed by Lt. John M. (Weasel) Wesolowski DFC with 3 Stars, Air Medal with 8 Stars, Presidential Unit Citation with 2 Stars, Navy Commendation Ribbon with Star - He joined the Navy in mid-December, 1940, and completed flight training at Pensacola, Florida in September, 1941, and was assigned to VF-5 (Fighting Five) based on the USS Wasp at that time in the Atlantic Fleet. Fighting Five was reassigned to the Pacific Fleet in early 1942 and assigned to the USS Saratoga during the Battle of Midway and the Invasion of Guadalcanal. When the Saratoga was torpedoed in August, 1942, VF-5 was flown off and based an Henderson Field, Guadalcanal during the height of the battle for that Island. VF-5 and Wesolowski were evacuated from Guadalcanal after a 40-day sojourn when all their planes were destroyed. Wesolowski had contracted malaria and was reassigned to an operational training command until early 1944 when he was sent back to the Pacific Fleet in VBF-9 (Fighter-Bombing Nine) on a succession of aircraft carriers including the Lexington and Yorktown. VBF-9 took part in the first sanier raids on Tokyo and covered the landings at Iwo Jima and Okinawa. - Score:13 in the air; 6 probables and some damaged.
